Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada. She is best known to Canadians due to her work as a Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea a' que te is enthralled. Emeraude Toubia also is an accomplished model and dancer. Her home is in Montreal, but grew up and attended school in Texas. The passion she has for dancing has been in her since the age of a child. Her training began in childhood in a number of various types. Her first participation in beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after, in 2008 she was competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. She made her acting debut in 2010, portraying a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in the action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
