Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. She is currently the president as the president of Los Angeles Lakers, the owner of the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California and grew up part of a rich family. The father of her Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon, who was later the manager of the Lakers as well as other sports companies. When her parents split in 1972, she began to feel in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. At the age 19 she was appointed the general manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. She later set up the Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice President of the Lakers. Buss along with her five brothers and sisters and their father who was the owner of the Lakers and ruled them up to his death in 2013, took over this ownership by way of the trust. Each of them were entitled to equally vote rights. Buss was elected president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which encourages professional wrestling.
